Dr Anne has been a specialist general practitioner for 30 years. Originally from Glasgow, she relocated to Melbourne in 2008 and has worked in Melbourne’s green wedge ever since. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners. Her major areas of interest are Skin Cancer (diagnosis and management) and Women’s Health.
 

She has a Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland and was Course Coordinator for the ‘Assessment and Diagnosis’ course of the UQ Postgraduate Skin Cancer programs from 2020-2024. She is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor (Skin Cancer College Australasia) and is competent and confident at both surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers. She is delighted to be setting up the Skin Cancer service at Yarra Trail Medical in conjunction with her long term friend, colleague and Masters alumnus Dr Moz Khalafalla.
 

Dr Anne is an experienced provider of long-acting contraceptives (IUDs and implants) and an accredited provider of shared maternity care at The Mercy, Northern and Royal Women’s Hospitals. Looking after the babies and small children arising from her shared maternity care work also continues to bring her joy. She additionally has a growing interest in menopause care and is a member of the Australian Menopause Society.

Despite her very well defined areas of interest Dr Anne remains at heart a general practitioner and retains her attentive ear, careful eye and whole person approach.

Outside working hours, she is a keep-fit enthusiast, musician and holiday (fair weather) cyclist. She has a patient husband and 2 adult sons.
